This is a fun opportunity to spend some time with your child at school, meet their friends and see them in their school environment.
Consider checking out our new whole school (Archway Arete and Arete Prep) carpool website to coordinate a carpool with families close to you.
Lead Coordinators: Joe Mason and Pat Spica
This committee coordinates events like the Father/Daughter dance. ALL of our school events rely on this awesome group to provide “muscle” for the set up/tear down!
Daddy Daughter Dance
The 1st annual Daddy Daughter Dance was on January 31, 2015 at 5:30pm in the Gymnatorium. This was a wonderful event attended by 300 of Archway’s dads and daughters and included dinner, dessert, DJ, photos, photo booth and carriage rides. We’re looking forward to sharing in this special night again next year!
We want to show our appreciation for our teachers and all that they do…YEAR ROUND! Join us as we coordinate efforts to make our teachers feel special.
The primary tasks of this committee will be to organize approximately four lunches and/or breakfasts for our teachers throughout the year, arrange for teacher gifts and help coordinate Teacher Appreciation Week in May. There may be additional ways in which we can celebrate our awesome teachers and we welcome new ideas.
Lead Coordinator: Elaine Kessler and Audi Emery
This committee coordinates the production and design of the school yearbook in keeping with the quality and intention of the mission of Great Hearts. Parents are invited to submit their photographs from various events and a few volunteers are needed to oversee the actual design of the yearbook using specific software distributed by the yearbook publisher. The committee will meet 2 times a month. No design experience needed, though an eye for detail and a heart for fun will go a long way on the Yearbook Committee.
Please submit all photos here: email@example.com. Smart phone photos will work, though if you own a good quality digital camera, that would be even better! Thank you for your contributions!
Lead Coordinators: Meghan Gerson and Kelly Kidder
The social/special events committee helps plan the school’s events in keeping with the ethos and mission of our school. Currently, parent volunteers are recruited for each new event. We greatly appreciate all parents’ participation in planning and organizing these fun events, which also facilitate opportunities to get to know each other.
