How much do I give?
With your generous contribution, we can purchase something like:
$10 = bookends
$25-$50 = mobile shelving units
$100-$500 = locking book return
Our Archway Arete library will be launched in a grand opening celebration on October 31st during our Read-a-thon. We are thrilled to finally have a working library for our scholars and are grateful for the dedicated efforts of so many parent volunteers that have made this a reality.
Before students are able to check out books, we are in need of a few final items, namely a locking book return, book ends, and an additional shelving unit. In effort to raise these final funds, we are inviting Archway Arete families to join us in a “Read a Book on Facebook” challenge. Four simple steps are as follows:
- Visit the “Archway Classical Academy Arete” page on Facebook. Be sure to “Like” and “Follow” us for notifications.
- If you would like to participate in this challenge, simply record a live Facebook video of your family reading aloud, tag “Archway Classical Academy Arete,” and invite two more Archway Arete families to join the challenge by tagging them in your video. (Only Public videos will appear on the school’s Facebook page)
- Make a donation to our Archway Library fund. Check donations may also be dropped off at the front office, just be sure to designate “library fund” in the memo.
This challenge will continue through October 31st, with our final “Read a Book on Facebook” video recorded live from our library during our grand opening celebration. Thank you for your participation and partnership as we raise not only these final funds, but lifelong readers, as well.
